Originari di San Francisco, i Tea Leaf Green sono una delle jam band più popolari della California.In questo disco, con la produzione di Jeremy Black, la band migliora la forma canzone, scrivendo ballate dal sapore più rock e meno jam. Non per questo la parte strumentale passa in second'ordine. E' migliorata la scrittura, ma il suono è sempre coinvolgente e la band sale in cattedra, diventando adulta..

Secondo album, registrato assieme dai due musicisti. Il talento si spreca e, questa volta, i due hanno inciso il disco dal vivo. Hornsby e Skaggs, coi Kentucky Thunder ( la band di Ricky ) come supporto. Classici del bluegrass, canzoni nuove, brani di Hornsby. Un cocktail affascinante di musica delle radici, con influenze grass ma anche rock e jazz.

Jake Clemons ha esordito nel 2013 con un EP, Embracing Light. Un disco che presentava un giovane talento in crescita. Poi ha pubblicato il suo disco d'esordio Fear + Love, un lavoro che mostrava appieno il talento del giovane musicista. Ora ecco il nuovo album, Eyes on The Horizon, che contiene Consumption Town ( con Tom Morello alla chitarra ). Nipote el grande Clarence Clemons, che ha poi sostituito come sassofonista nella E Street Band, Jake Clemons è un musicista in continua evoluzione.
