Il leader di una delle formazioni emergenti di sixties sound, garage e psichedelia della attuale scena Usa: i Buffalo Killers. Gabbard non fa altro che dare seguito al suono della sua band con una manciata di canzoni solide, decise, ben costruite. Modern Grunge Fuzz Pop with 60's Aura, decisamente chiaro il messaggio. La prima tiratura del CD contiene quattro canzoni dal vivo, come bonus.

Nuovo album per la band di Ann Arbor, Michigan, che mischia rock, folk celtico con musica africana ed orientale. Un cocktail affascinante, fuori da ogni schema preordinato. Sotto la leadership della creativa Erin Zindle, voce, songwriter, violinista e polistrumentista, la band ha trovato una sua nicchia con un sound che si è fatto sempre più personale. Anche resto dei musicisti (tra cui brillano TJ Zindle e Dan Jones), sono di sicuro valore. The Threshold and The Heart è un disco che non passa inosservato.
