JJ Cale se ne è andato, in silenzio come ha vissuto, giusto un anno fa. Clapton, suo grande amico ed estimatore, ha chiamato a sè colleghi e fans di JJ ed ha costruito un tributo in onore dell'amico. The Breeze è un disco di canzoni di Cale, interpretate da Clapton in compagnia di gente del calibro di Tom Petty, Mark Knopfler, Willie Nelson, John Mayer, Don White, Derek Trucks. Un disco bello, pieno di grandi canzoni, suonato nel più assoluto rispetto del suo autore. Un tributo fatto con amore. Copia non sigillata.

Debutto come solista per il frontman dei Felice Brothers ( assieme ai fratelli James e Simone ). Un disco di musica Americana, molto personale, dove Ian preferisce restare negli stilemi classici, senza uscire dai binari di una musica che conosce benissimo. Ballate intimiste, brani folk rock, canzoni sulla memoria. Un disco fresco, ben costruito, pensato a lungo, che conferma Ian musicista maturo e, non per nulla, leader della band costruita assieme ai suoi fratelli.

Obbligati a stare chiusi in casa, per via della pandemia, i texani Band of Heathens si sono inventati una serie di concerti in streaming, per degli appuntamenti settimanali, chiamati Good Time Supper Club. Questo disco raccoglie alcuni di quei brani e si presenta in modo decisamente intrigante. Infatti i Band of Heathens eseguono brani di Rolling Stones, Little Feat, Lucinda Williams, Guy Clark, Temptataions, Bob Seger, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Marty Robbins. Ed in ogni brano, ci sono degli ospiti: Ray Wylie Hubbard, Margo Price, Todd Snider, Butch Walker, Hayes Carll, Butch Walker, Charlie Starr ( Blackberry Smoke ), Nicki Bluhm etc.

Released as a cardboard box containing three separate jewel cases and an individually numbered ticket for Beau Brummels concert December 23, 1965.

Disc 1 includes a 22-page booklet including interviews with Ron Elliott, Sal Valentino, Declan Mulligan, Ron Meagher and John Petersen, as well as many photos, a short credits section for the whole box, as well as two pages with credits and short notes for each individual track of CD 1. Disc 2 and Disc 3 each include a 4-page booklet with only the two pages with credits and short notes for each individual track of the respective CD.
