2 CD. Concerto, inedito sino ad oggi, avvenuto a Boston, alla Symphony Hall, nel 1972. Le collaborazioni tra Garcia ed Howard Wales sono state abbastana rare, a parte il famoso Hoteroll. Ma questo concerto ci dà una dimensione nuova del loro legame artistico grazie sopratutto alla struttura della performance. Un concerto di musica anche improvvisata, che passa dal jazz alla musica acida, persino al funky. Con Roger Troy ( Eletric Flag ) e Jim Vincent ( HP Lovecraft ) musicisti aggiunti.
Nel 1970 i Cactus ( Tim Bogert, Carmine Appice, Jim McCarty e Rusty Day ) erano considerati la risposta Usa ai Led Zeppelin. Ora, 46 anni dopo, sono tornati. La formazione non è la stessa, ma riprende quel sound, a metà tra hard rock e blues rock, intenso e chitarristico. Carmine Appice è il leader assieme Jim McCarty ( coadiuvati dall'ex Savoy Brown Jimmy Kunes e da Andy Pratt e Pete Bremy). Il nuovo album riprende quei suoni ma ci offre anche due canzoni inedite della formazione originale, incisi all'iniizio della carriera, nel 1970.
Splendido concerto, registrato nel 1975 a Memphis, nella Lafayette Music Room. Big Star in formazione originale, con Alex Chilton voce solista. La mitica band southern esegue 20 canzoni, divise tra classici del proprio repertorio e covers. Tra le canzoni eseguite: Hot Burrito n 2 ( Flying Burrito Brothers), Way out West, The Ballad of El Goodo, O My Soul, Come On Now, Slut, Don't Lie to Me, Thirteen, Back of A Car, She's A Mover, I Gotta Kind Lost. Questo concerto era gia stato edito nel cofanetto retrospettivo Keep An Eye On The Sky. E' la prima volta che viene edito da solo. Edizione Omnivore Usa, a prezzo speciale.
