Pubblicato inizialmente nel 1980, questo disco è fuori catalogo da molti anni. Si tratta di un progetto blues del grande rocker texano, uno dei pochi dischi registrati senza Augie Meyers. Sahm omaggia Guitar Slim, con l'aiuto di Kelly Dunn alle tastiere. Sei canzoni sono di Doug, le altre sono covers. Ci mancava.

Steve Howe, chitarra solista negli Yes. è un musicista a tutto tondo. La serie Homebrew, iniziata nel 1996, andava a a ricercare materiale inedito nei suoi archivi personali. Materiale registrato per le varie band a cui Steve ha partecipato: Yes, AWBH (Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman & Howe) e GRT (Steve Howe, Steve Hackett and Geoff Downes). Questo sesto volume contiene materiale assolutamente inedito, con ben 18 canzoni che appaiono per la prima volta, nella loro versione originale.
Leggendaria band psichedelica, che ha inciso solo questo disco, edito nel 1971. Originari dell'Arizona, i Kennelmus erano considerati un band culto per eccellenza. Il loro sound, venato di blues, basato sulle chitarre, aveva dei legami con gli Electric Prunes e con certe cose del primissimo Captain Beefheart, quello più blues e psichedelico. Ristampa rimasterizzata.
I Pure Prairie League, band southern rock / country rock molto popolare negli anni setttanta, viene ben rappresentata da questo disco dal vivo.Con solo due dischi alle spalle, all'epoca, i PPL erano una band emergente. Ma poi, tramite alcuni brani, raggiunsero un insperato successo.Questo live, ben inciso, è la conferma della loro popolarotà e del tipo di suono, tra rock e country con deviazioni southern rock, molto popolare negli anni settanta.
