Jay Willie, band leader tosto, con gente come Bobby T Torello, Jason Ricci, Bob Callahan, Steve Clarke e Ted Yakush fissi nella band, è uno che fa del sano blues, molto elettrico e ruspante, mischiato con robuste dosi di rock, ma anche jump blues e rhythm and blues. Ed in questo album, il quarto, la band prende a piene mani dal grande songbook Americano: Johnny Otis, Al Green, Dan Penn, Smokey Robinson, Huey P. Meaux. Oltre ai brani scritti dalla band.

French Cookin' è una nuova rock blues band, originaria di New York, che crea il suo sound mischiando influenze ed idee dalle scene blues più diverse: Chicago, New Orleans, Texas, Piedmont,Mississippi.Il quartetto (Glen Robert Allen, Bobby Day, Josh Brother G. Goldberg e David Doc French) si è creato un suono che viene definito City Blues / New York Style. Un suono elettrico, diretto, che viene alla luce in canzoni come Daytime Blues, Old Sun Blues, Don't Leave Me Hangin', How You Talkin', Slow Down etc.
