Terzo album per il musicista di New York che questa volta si sposta al Sud. Influenzato da Allman Brothers, Johnny Winter e John Fahey, Friedlander ha messo su una nuova band, con il chitarrista Doug Wamble, ed esplora le nuove alchimie tra cello e slide guitar, il tutto immerso in una profonda atmosfera southern.
Atteso nuovo lavoro della coppia di chitarristi Strunz & Farah, qui accompagnati da musicisti di valore come Al DiMeola, Carlos Del Puerto, Ron Wagner, Luis Conte, Paul Alexander Gonzales. Tra jazz, folk, musica etnica e divagazioni latineggianti.
Questo duo rappresenta un esperimento che spinge i confini della musica stessa. La loro collaborazione non si limita a generi come il free jazz o la musica improvvisativa. Invece, si erge come un'avventura sonora che esplora il potenziale del suono del basso elettrico e percussioni.
