Eliane Elias e Marc Johnson, moglie e marito nella vita reale, uniscono le forze con Joey Baron e Joe Lovano per un disco di grande classe. Già in Shades of Jade, 2005, i quattro avevano suonato assieme. In questo nuovo disco si ripete la collaborazione, con risultati più che positivi. Le composizioni vanno da brani scritti dalla pianista brasiliana a classici della tradizione americana come Shenandoah. Affascinante.
Torna la sophisticated lady con un bel disco, elegante e raffinato, costruito come omaggio a Frank Sinatra e Stan Getz. Infatti Diane interpreta brani che i due grandi avevano già registrato nel corso della loro carriera.
