1992 Varèse Sarabande U.S. CD issue of the original motion picture soundtrack to "Year of the Comet," composed by Hummie Mann and performed by an unidentified studio orchestra under the baton of Kurt Bestor. The packaging features a four-page booklet with a brief uncredited biographical note for the composer, liner notes from film director Peter Yates (9), and three black-and-white photos from the film on the interior pages; and color front and back covers, the former featuring key art from the production, and the latter featuring both film production credits and color photos from the production. (The inlay card also incudes a long list of "Special Thanks," which, due to space limitations, will not be included here!)
