After The Fire è uscito l'undici Ottobre 2019, una settimana fa. Ed ora è la volta di The Wanting, un secondo album, totalmente nuovo. Cody Jinks, alfiere del country più attuale in questo momento in Usa, celebra la sua libertà, avendo pubblicato i due dischi per la propria etichetta, Late August Records. The Wanting contiene altre dodici canzoni, in classico stile country elettrico. Composte tutte da Cody, da solo oppure assieme ad alcuni autori fidati (dalla moglie Rebecca a Josh Morningstar, Greg Jones, Ward Davis, Jamie Richards, per citarne alcuni). Due dischi nel giro di una settimana, un lavoro notevole ed una manciata di canzoni belle, solide e ben costruite.
