5CD/Blu Ray. L’album di maggior successo dei Tangerine Dream, pubblicato originariamente dalla Virgin Records nel febbraio 1974, ‘Phaedra’ rimase per 15 settimane nelle UK charts. Registrato ai Manor Studios nel novembre 1973, primo album per la Virgin e primo in assoluto in cui venne utilizzato il sequencer. La band tedesca creò un proprio signature sound che ebbe un’influenza unica nell’electronic music seguente fino ai giorni nostri. La nuova versione contiene la versione rimasterizzata dell'album originale, 2 CD di outtakes tratte dalle registrazioni ufficiali; 2 CD con la registrazione del primo concerto della band tedesca in UK, al Victoria Palace Theatre di Londra nel giugno 1974; Blu-ray con audio 5.1 Surround Sound mix a cura di Steven Wilson e un libroillustrato con note bio-discografiche a cura dell’esperto dei Tangerine Dream Wouter Bessels.

The same recording exists on the CD box set "[r8057825]" from 2016, but this 3LP version plays at the right speed/pitch and is therefore an upgraded version (as confirmed by mastering engineer Wouter Bessels).
