Si tratta di un collettivo di muscisti che, tra gli anni sessanta ed i primi settanta, hanno suonato ( senza essere citati) in alcuni dei dischi più famosi di sempre ( Mr Tambourine Man, Good Vibrations, Eve of Destruction, Another Saturday Night etc). Hanno fatto parte di questo gruppo musicisti del calibro di Blaine, Barney Kessell, Earl Palmer, Bill Aken, Al Casey, Tommy Tedesco, Glen Campbell, Leon Russell e molti altri. Hanno suonato nei dischi di: Byrds, Beach Boys, Phil Spector, Leonard Cohen, Simon & Garfunkel, Sam Cooke, Paul Revere and the Raiders, Mamas and Papas, Ronettes, Ritchie Valens, Barry McGuire, Monkees etc.Il box contiene molte queste canzoni, mentre il quarto CD è dedicato ai brani suonati dai musucisti di Wrecking Crew sotto il proprio nome.
