Of course, as a classicist, I pine for the days when everything was made entirely by hand, and so I look longingly back to the days before the Industrial Revolution. Fallen Angels, il nuovo lavoro di Bob Dylan è il seguito dell'amato ma anche odiato Shadows in The Night. Infatti questo nuovo album di Dylan, il suo 37°, presenta ancora il musicista in veste di crooner, di interprete. Frank Sinatra è sempre la sua ispirazione principale, ma questa volta Bob va a scegliere canzoni più note, come All The Way, Young At Heart, Polka Dots and Moonbeams, All Or Nothing at All, That Old Black Magic, Come Rain or Come Shine, Melancholy Mood. Se amate le atmosfere laconiche e la voce di crooner di Bob, questo è il vostro disco.

Il box contiene le session di Time Out Of Mind, fatte tra il 1996 ed il 1997, prodotte da Daniel Lanois, Time Out Of Mind ha avuto ben tre Grammy Award ed è considerato uno dei capolovori di Dylan, tra i suoi dischi migliori in assoluto. Tra i brani che appaiono nel disco ricordiamo: Make You Feel My Love, divenuto un classico, grazie anche alla versione di Billy Joel, quindi Can't Wait, Tryin' To Get To Heaven, Not Dark Yet. La versione in doppio CD, presenta la costruzione del disco aggiungendo il nuovo missaggio di Michael H. Brauer che leva alcuni dei suoni creati da Lanois, quindi un secondo album album pieno di outtakes e versioni alternate, tra cui anche u paio di brani tratti dalle prove del disco, incise nel 1996 ad Oxnard da una band con Bob Dylan, Daniel Lanois, Tony Garnier e Tony Mangurian.
