questa e` la prima versione di "guerra e pace", pubblicata in russia nel 1983, che ha suscitato subito discussioni critiche e valutazioni contrastanti. "1805" non e` solo una stesura inedita, e` anche, forse soprattutto, un`opera autonoma che illumina una fase importante del pensiero tolstojano: i luoghi d`azione, i personaggi, i tempi sono gli stessi di "guerra e pace", ma ridotte sono le disgressioni filosofiche e le descrizioni puntuali, diversa e` in piu` parti la trama e tutt`altra la conclusione.
