La parte finale della performance vede poi l'artista concedersi delle riletture classiche, atraverso brani quali Somewhere Over The Rainbow, It's A Lonesome Old Town, Answer Me My Love.
Registrato all'età di 91 anni, come omaggio per i suoi nipoti, LUllabies rimane l'ultima registrazione del grande pianista. Un disco particolare in cui Brubeck rilegge classici e standards, brani dedicati ai bambini, ninne nanne, ma anche jazz standards e classici tratti dal great American songbook. L'album, suonato con il suo inimitabile stile, è un disco piacevolissimo, tutto da godere. Brubeck rilegge brani come Brahms Lullaby, Danny Boy, Over The Rainbow, There No Place Like Home, When It's Sleepy Time Down South, Summertime, All Through The Night, Koto Song.

Il disco congiunto di due geniali violinista come Grappelli in ambito jazz e Vassar Clements in ambito bluegrass. Accompagnati da Martin Taylor alla chitarra acustica, Doug Jernigan alla pedal steel, Jim Ferguson al basso, Kenny Malone alla batteria e Davis Causey alle chitarre elettriche, i due violinisti combinano gli strumenti con disinvoltura e grazia come avessero sempre suonato insieme.
