Mark Knopfler si presenta con un disco nuovo, sei anni dopo Down The Road Whener. Un disco di ballate, cion profonde inflessioni irlandesi, nel classico stile del nostro. Prodotto assieme a Guy Fletcher, il disco vede una solida band alle spalle di Mark. Tra le canzoni presentate nell'album, vale la pena di ricordare quella che dà il titolo al disco, ma anche Smart Money, Two Pair of Hands, Sweeter Than Rain, Before My Train Comes. Nella band che lo accompagna, oltre ai fidi Guy Fletcher, Danny Cummings, Richard Bennett, Glenn Worf, Jim Cox, c'è anche, per la prima volta, il grande Greg Leisz alla pedal, lap steel ed acoustic guitar.
