Il nuovo atteso album del gruppo che sta reinventando le contaminazioni tra rock e country. Assieme agli Old Crow Medicine Show, gli Hackensaw Boys sono una delle formazioni più interessanti in questo momento in Usa. Charismo, che esce dopo un silenzio abbastanza lungo, conferma i miglioramenti della band, grazie anche alla produzione attenta di uno come Larry Campbell. Tra rock e radici, ma già oltre il classico suono Americana.
Kim si è riunita con Brad Jones ed è andata a registrare nel suo studio, Alex the Great Recording Studio, peroprio a Nashville.Edgeland è un bel disco di canzoni roots oriented, cantate e suonate molto bene, che si avvalgono anche di ospiti di nome come Chuck Prophet, Robyn Hitchcock e Pat Sansone, tra gli altri.
