Seth Rosenbloom arriva da Boston ed ha già qualche disco al suo attivo. E' un bluesman tosto e si ispira ad Eric Clapton, Joe Bonamassa e Stevie Ray Vaughan. Nel disco ci sono brani scritti di suo pugno ma anche covers, tratte dai repertori di B.B. King, Elmore James e Freddie King.Classico rock blues elettrico,potente e diretto. Rosenbloom è uno che si farà sicuramente strada.
Non è al suo primo disco Lisa Mills. Chitarrista, blues e soul singer, la Mills è attiva, sopratutto nel South degli Usa. E, proprio con questo disco, vuole rendere un omaggio al trangolo magico locato tra Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Memphis, Tennessee e Jackson, Mississsippi. Un triangolo che ha dato moltissimo alla musica americana. E la Mills lo celebra al meglio reinterpretando brani noti come Tell Mama, I'd Rather Go Blind, That's How Strong My Love Is, Some Time Same Place ed altre. Canzoni rese celebri da Etta James, Clarence Carter, Little Richard, Little Milton, Sam and Dave, Otis Redding, Bobby Blue Bland ed altri. Una lezione moderna di classico soul, con forti venature blues, per una musicista destinata a grandi cose.
