The original tapes were recorded by Lennie Tristano at his studio on Palo Alto Street in Hollis, N.Y. during informal sessions with Sonny Dallas in 1964-5. It was Lennie's wish that this music be released witn drums added. The music was re-recorded with Carol Tristano in 1993.
