Jonathan Wilson, cantautore che in passato abbiamo celebrato, sopratutto nei suoi primi due albums, torna a casa, musicalmente parlando, e fa quel disco che, da qualche anno a questa parte non gli riusciva più di fare.Un disco tra rock e radici, con ballate in classico suono Americana e, sopratutto, con la penna calda ed una adeguata serie di musicisti alle spalle, che forniscono il suono di cui Jonathan aveva bisogno. Musicisti come Mark O’Connor, Joe Pisapia, Dennis Crouch, Pat Sansone, Kenny Vaughan. Dixie Blur è un signor disco con alcune canzoni degne di entrare nel songbook delle migliori dell’anno: ‘69 Corvette, New Home, El Camino Real, In Heaven Making Love, So Alive e Riding The Blinds.
