Mick Softley, cantautore folk rock, con accenni psichedelici, ha goduto di una breve fama ma la sua musica, di indubbia qualità, ha continuato ad esistere grazie al culto che aveva avvolto la sua figura. 2 CD. Life Live dei Thin Lizzy pubblicato originariamente nel 1983, è stato l'ultimo album della band, registrato durante il loro tour di addio all'inizio di quell'anno. Phil Lynott, il leader dei Thin Lizzy, sentì che era arrivato il momento per sciogliere il gruppo dopo il Thunder And Lightning tour e per celebrare l'occasione chiamò gli ex chitarristi della band, Eric Bell (1969-73), Brian Robertson (1974-78) e Gary Moore (1974, 1977 e 1978-79) che si unirono al gruppo sul palco dell'Hammersmith Odeon di Londra. Durante l'esecuzione del classico dei Lizzy The Rocker, tutti gli ospiti si aggiunsero ai due chitarristi della band John Sykes e Scott Gorham, per un totale di otto musicisti sul palco. Anche l'ex chitarrista Snowy White (1980-1982) appare nell'album in tre brani, Renegade, Hollywood e Killer On The Loose, registrati nel 1981. Questa nuova versione è stata rimasterizzata per celebrare il 40° anniversario dell’uscita.
