In 1955, Lucien Morisse, program director at Europe 1, had the idea to welcome the greatest jazz musicians among the artists performing in the "Musicorama" Shows. Later on, numerous jazz concerts were organized in Paris and broadcast as part of our radio program "For Those Who Love Jazz". Thus we had the pleasure to feature all the musicians who created, defined and contributed to expand the afro-american music in the years 1955 to 1980. Among thousands hours of jazz, recorded by Europe 1, and never previously issued on albums or CD, we have picked up some of the most memorable moments to share today the pleasure of enjoying them with you.
