una raccolta scritta in tempi brevi, come se le poesie che la compongono fossero spinte da un lampo, un chiarore, una "vertigine", mettendo in campo altre prospettive dettate da un unico tempo capace di riassumerli tutti nel punto dantesco "a cui tutti li tempi son presenti". nell`ultimo stadio della sua poetica si puo` osservare come lo stilista dell`usuale lasci il posto allo stilista dell`universale. la vita, la morte, il tempo, i rapporti con la scienza e i problemi filosofici e letterari che a essi si legano sono un tema che scorre come un fiume sorgivo, un lungo ragionamento che, come una goccia d`acqua nel fondo di una grotta, si fa lago, fiume, stalattite. tutto resta cristallizzato nel vero di un pensiero che s`irradia sul presente, giorno dopo giorno, ora dopo ora, fino al punto finale, oltre al quale esiste solo "la memoria del futuro". in un mondo "abbrunato a mezz`asta", nelo risi offre cosi` il suo silenzio ricco di sonorita`, lasciando una traccia di un suo presente aeternitatis, di un attimo fuggente che orazio aveva celebrato come un momento irripetibile, eterno, libero dalla prospettiva del futuro. questa visione laica dell`ineffabilita` reca il marchio di una forma letteraria che sprigiona un`energia radiante senza ricorrere a orpelli linguistici. queste sono le note che nelo risi ha sentito vibrare, giorno dopo giorno, nel comporre questa sua sonata, "per cogliere l`istante di vero che talvolta mi da luce".
