Questo LP contiene le registrazioni fatte da Charles Manson prima degli omicidi Tate-Labianca. C'era qualche speculazione all'epoca che un produttore discografico che in precedenza possedeva la casa della Tate, e che aveva precedentemente respinto le registrazioni di Manson, fosse l'obiettivo previsto. Tuttavia, questa teoria è stata successivamente confutata. Ogni produttore a cui Manson si era avvicinato con le sue registrazioni alla fine riceveva minacce di morte in un momento o nell'altro, e successivamente fu dimostrato che Manson aveva preso di mira un certo numero di famosi artisti che avevano avuto successo.
