Registrato all'età di 91 anni, come omaggio per i suoi nipoti, LUllabies rimane l'ultima registrazione del grande pianista. Un disco particolare in cui Brubeck rilegge classici e standards, brani dedicati ai bambini, ninne nanne, ma anche jazz standards e classici tratti dal great American songbook. L'album, suonato con il suo inimitabile stile, è un disco piacevolissimo, tutto da godere. Brubeck rilegge brani come Brahms Lullaby, Danny Boy, Over The Rainbow, There No Place Like Home, When It's Sleepy Time Down South, Summertime, All Through The Night, Koto Song.
Promettente album per il jazzista Usa emergente, con Chris Potter, Brian Blade, Craig Potter e Adam Rogers.
