Pubblicato in origine dalla Warner Bros all'inizio degli anni settanta, questo disco di Arthur Alexander viene finalmente ristampato, in versione rtimasterizzata e potenziata. Si tratta di un disco culto, molto ricercato dagli estimatori del vero soul. Arthur Alexander, morto a soli 53 anni, era uno dei migliori soul singer ( anche compositore), dei deep sixties. Aveva scritto grandi canzoni ( You Better Move On, su tutte ) interpretate poi da Rolling Stones, Ry Cooder, Otis Redding, Beatles, Bob Dylan, solo per citare i più noti
In questo album abbiamo classici come Burning Love ( poi diventata un successo di Elvis Presley) e Go Home Girl ( ripresa da Ry Cooder ). Un disco molto bello che viene ristampato con l'aggiunta di due inediti e di due singoli pubblicato all'epoca, ma mai apparsi su LP.
Una grande soul singer,sconosciuta alla maggior parte del pubblico. Attraverso queste 25 canzoni possiamo scoprire Mary Love. Le registrazioni sono del decennio 65 / 75, ma la voce è notevole e brani come You Turned My Better Into Sweet e Come Out of The Sandbox sono più che degni di menzione.
