James Farm è il gruppo jazz messo assieme da Joshua Redman. Una band collaborativa che mischia elementi rock, folk, soul, classica e jazz: Un suono diverso, ancora più evidenziato in questo secondo album dove, oltre a Redman, appaiono il pianista Aaron Parks, il bassista Matt Penman ed il batterista Eric Harland.
2 CD. Un progetto ambizioso, quello di unire la musica colta e quella afroamericana. Ci riesce pienamente il trombettista inglese Guy Barker, che rilegge Mozart in chiave jazz, ben coadiuvato, tra gli altri, da Rosario Giuliani.
2 CD. Una scoperta eccezionale. 58 brani inediti di Charle Parker, ritrovati di recente. Registrazioni con Charlie Parker Septet, Machito and His Afro-cuban Orchestra, con il quintetto e con un quartetto. Registrazioni con un gruppo di cui facevano parte Thelonious Monk, Buddy Rich, Curly Russell e Dizzy Gillespie. Parker e Gillespie senza gli altri, Parker da solo. Edizione completa, contiene 69 brani. Formidabile.

Secondo volume delle registrazioni inedite prese dagli archivi del pianista di colore. Monk accompagnato da Charlie Rouse, Butch Warren e Ben Riley.
Eccellente disco di jazz, da parte del trombettista Ron Miles, Aveva esordito con I Am A Man, in cui aveva delle collaborazioni rimarchevoli. La cosa si ripete con questo nuovo lavoro, che è anche migliore e che vede Miles suonare assieme a gente del calibro di Brian Blade, Bill Frisell, Jason Moran e Thomas Morgan. Tra i dischi jazz più belli del momento.
Registrato dal vivo al Dizzy's Club di New York, questo Live ci mostra che Burrell è ancora in grado di suonare alla grande. Qui è accompagnato da Benny Green, Clayton Cameron ed altri.
La colonna sonora del bellisimo film diretto da Clint Eastwood e interpretato da Forest Whitaker dedicatoo al grande sasofonista americano Charlie Parker. La soundtrack contiene ovviamente tutta musica di Parker allineando classici come Ornithology, Laura, Lester Leaps In, Cool Blues e molti altri.
