Un concerto molto raro, registrato all'inizio della carriera del chitarrista Jazz.Bright Size Life era stato da poco pubblicato e, nel corso del suo tour per gli Stati Uniti, Metheny viene a suonare a Boston. E' con il suo quartetto, con cui avrebbe inciso l'anno seguente Watercolors. Il concerto propone brani tratti da entrambi i dischi con Metheny che mostra già di essere in un momento affascinante della sua carriera.
